Summer Ops Updates
See the Local to
Global brochure attached for this four day program held at St. Thomas
University: Understanding Refugees and Immigrants through the Political Process. This program is
probably free. Deadline to apply: April 25
Inexpensive.
Three day programs offered in June. Reasonably priced.

Texas Governor’s School
Very competitive. Cost $350. Great for resume.

This is a wildlife rescue rehabilitation center. Students can
volunteer here (for an extended period of time because one has to be
trained). This is affiliated with the SPCA and is next doorto the SPCA off of Old Katy Road
and I-10. Must be at least 16 years old.
